Sergeant Jason Herder testified as an expert witness Thursday, saying that all evidence points to a Windsor man causing a fatal crash near Chatham two years ago. A fire at Walpole Island First Nation last night sent three people to the hospital including one firefighter, the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance is welcoming two new doctors to its ranks and both of them are accepting referrals, and the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation has received a generous donation that will help families who have a loved one in hospice care.

Eight members of the Chatham-Kent Police Service are getting some special recognition for going above and beyond the call of duty during a pair of incidents over the summer.
